Trust In Him
Wednesday 1 September 2010 - 20:30
Everyday we wake up with the same problems we went to sleep with the night before...but there is a big difference which sometimes we fail to realise. God has woken us up the next morning, not only because He loves us but it is a reminder that we should have hope, that there is light at the end of the tunnel. God waking us up is stating that although we may not see this light we should have faith that the light is there and as a result put our full trust in Him. We know not the things that will come tomorrow but we still make plans!
Lets thank God for our trials because they help us lean on Him and as a result draw us closer to him. Lets also thank God for His mercy and grace as He wakes us up in the morning even though we may lack in faith.
James 1:12 says "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him".
God only gives us what we can handle, He knows us inside out so when trials come it means that we are ready whether we realise this or not. The book of Revelation says "To him that overcomes" more than five times.
Lets persevere through our trials, stand the test with our undying faith and then get the crown of Glory promised!
We can do it!
So when we wake up lets get up with an attitude displaying trust. We've got to be ready for battle with the whole armour of God as stated in Ephesians 6.
God's capable hands await our trials....we've just got to hand them over!

"God's Love"
Thursday 24 June 2010 - 21:28
At some point in time in our lives whatever age we are, whether 16 or 51 we have that feeling where we were on cloud 9. Nothing else matters. We believe were in love.
Love?!
Love is the one thing in this world which is not prescribed, not illegal and absolutely free. It can make you feel better, make you “high” and drive you crazy! However, that is the difference between our love and God’s love. God’s love is known as Agape. Agape love is unique and its quality and worth is untouchable. Why? Because it is consistent, it is never ending and amazingly unselfish.
When God loves us, He puts us first. His main priority is our needs. Sometimes we don’t realise this and we forget to put Him first. When we're in a relationship with someone, we never forget to talk to that particular person, sometimes they are all we can think about.
We are in a relationship with God. He is our Father and we need to give Him the love and glory He deserves. God’s love is wonderful and full of unnumbered mercies available for us to take with arms wide open. Never forget that.
Always love.

"RUN"
Sunday 17th Jan 2010 - 15:49
My friend once told me that being a Christian is a journey; it’s not a run but a walk. It’s not a run!? I never really understood what she was saying until she explained to me that in a walk it’s ok to fall down as long as you get back up. This gave me hope and still gives me hope today because in life we buckle, we trip and sometimes it’s so bad we feel as if were getting run over as we cross roads or as we grow. Sometimes terrible things happen to us, and even though we really don’t like this line it does happen for a reason. When something happens, sometimes it’s so bad it hurts; it feels as if you’re being stoned. But surrender your all to God. It will no longer be your problem but the Lord’s. We never realise this but the Lord wants our problems…I mean have you ever heard of that? You can’t bear to think about them but the Lord is pleading with you to lay them all down to him. We need to get rid of self. There’s a line in a song that says “Less of me but more of You is what I need”. Let this be your prayer. Let the Lord be your strength and your guide and don’t forget to walk not run for a Saint is just a sinner who falls down.
