Praise Him In Advance

Friday 10 September 2010 A song written by Marvin Sapp is entitled Praise Him In Advance and says: I’ve had my share of ups and downs, times when there was no one around, God came and spoke these words to me, praise will confuse the enemy. So I started singing, I started clapping, I started dancing, people were laughing, they knew my problems, they knew my pain, but I knew God would take them away. That’s why I Praise Him in Advance!   These few words are powerful. Why? Because they teach us the lesson of gratefulness, they teach us to acknowledge God in all circumstances.   Sometimes we stare at the negative things making us overlook all the positive things in life that we don’t even deserve. In praising God in advance we are Praising God through and for what we may feel to be trials. We also begin to realise the amazing number of blessings He grants us each and everyday.     Furthermore when Praising we are lifting up the name of Jesus and thus giving God the glory He deserves. Praising Him In Advance is also a sign of faith as we know God is and will continue to work in our lives.   As Christians we can be the only God some people see and our lives can be the biggest witness. As a result our demonstration of Faith and the belief displayed in our Praise can draw individuals closer to God.   Many lessons can be learnt by Praising God In Advance. So let’s Praise Him In Advance!
